Hosting

This website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested, in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

No cookies

This website sets no cookies. Fonts are served locally. If you choose a theme (light/dark), this setting is stored only in your browser.

Audience measurement

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without storing IP addresses; visitors are not recognised. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Map (OpenStreetMap)

The map view loads map images from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom), but only after you click “Load map”. This transfers your IP address. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your choice is stored in your browser only until you close the browser tab (no cookie). The EU has issued an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom.

Location

“Near me” asks for your location through your browser. It is only used in your browser to calculate distances and is neither transmitted nor stored.

Submitting an event

Submitted events are stored with your email address and, optionally, your name at Supabase Inc. (data centre in Frankfurt) to review them, contact you with questions and publish them. Name and email are not published and are deleted after 6 months at the latest. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by email. For spam protection, the form page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser characteristics without cookies (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact by email

If you get in touch by email, your details are processed to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Emails are forwarded via Cloudflare and stored with Google (Gmail). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Events link to the organizers’ websites, “Get directions” to Google Maps or Apple Maps. These pages are only opened when you click; their operators are responsible for the content and data processing there.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
